On behalf of SachsenNetze, SachsenEnergie is looking to strengthen the team as soon as possible on a full-time or part-time basis in Dresden, Großenhain, Bautzen, Heidenau or Görlitz.

Electrical Engineer for Energy Transition (m/f/d)

Job overview:

  • Developing grid concepts to increase grid automation and grid expansion planning in high/medium/low voltage electricity
  • Developing implementation concepts for the construction and expansion of substations, including their maintenance concepts
  • Preparation of equipment specifications, sampling and pre-qualification of suppliers
  • Creating tasks, preliminary plans and technical as well as economic concepts for grid construction projects
  • Determining connection points for decentralized generation plants and developing grid connection concepts
  • Managing complex cooperation and coordination processes with authorities, associations, utilities, manufacturers and customers

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed bachelor's, master's or diplom degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy technology or a similar field
  • Knowledge in the field of grid planning, grid calculations, electrical equipment and geographical information systems
  • Motivation to help shape us the energy transition
  • Interest in technical and economic issues
  • Ability to analyse existing operational processes and to derive new or alternative solutions
  • A high degree of initiative combined with an independent and structured way of working
  • Good communication, teamwork skills and assertiveness
  • German language skills at least B2 required
