For our Responsive Space Cluster Competence Center in Trauen we are looking for a
Automation of a Thermal-Vacuum-Testbed for Responsive Space
What to expect:
Your tasks include:
- learning about and getting comfortable using existing TVAC
- designing and realizing improvements and automation features for the TVAC
- thermal modelling and analysis for Responsive Space Use Cases
- execution of thermal cycling test in order to:
- demonstrate effectiveness of realized measures
- verify thermal analysis
- test thermal cycling software
What we expect from you:
- bachelor's degree or comparable in a technical field of study like aerospace engineering, physics, electronics, mechanics or similar
- basic knowledge in Labview
- good communication skills
- self-organized work
- interest in interdisciplinary tasks: control and measurement technology, electronics, mechanics, programming
- very good language skill in German or English (ideally both)
- ideally, experience in thermal cycling tests or thermal analysis in the field space engineering
- ideally, experience in labview or comparable laboratory control software
