New Business Development Manager (f/m/x) – In-vitro-Diagnostics

Your responsibilities

  • Support Sysmex’ growth strategy by identifying, assessing, proposing and implementing new business opportunities through portfolio diversification (in-house and 3rd party) and expansion

  • Become one of Sysmex’ disease experts, preferably in areas like haemostasis/thrombotic disorders and/or transfusion medicine. Gain deep understanding of stakeholders, diagnostic and treatment pathways, as well as medical guidelines and reimbursement schemes for assigned focus disease areas.

  • Identify and understand market needs, develop strategic context and translate it into tangible value propositions and Target-Product-Profiles. Assess new business opportunities and business models to respond to market needs

  • Conduct market researches, prepare business plans and business case calculations and pitch them to various stakeholders and decision-making-autorities within the organisation 

  • Contribute to interdisciplinary projects, as project manager or project member, related to realisation and expansion of new businesses

  • Closely collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as Sysmex Affiliates within EMEA, Medical Affairs, Business Lines, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain Management and business partners

Your profile

  • Academic degree in natural sciences, medical sciences or similar 

  • >5 years of professional experience in the in-vitro-diagnostics sector is a must, preferably in areas like immunochemistry, haemostasis/thrombotic disorders and/or transfusion medicine

  • Experience and ability in running market researches, business plans and calculation of business cases

  • Willingness and ability to learn in order to become an expert in focus disease areas and to understand new technologies and trends

  • Proven skills in planning and managing international and interdisciplinary projects

  • Ability to grasp business strategies and define tactical actions, accordingly

  • Strong business and solution orientation with a result-driven way of working

  • Team player with effective communication, negotiation and presentation skills
