Your responsibilities
Your main responsibilities include:
- Performing manufacturing and quality control testing of semi-finished and finished products in compliance with regulatory requirements (ISO 13485)
- Conducting analytical release of QC results
- Applying your expertise in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) within QC workflows
- Ensuring that all analyses meet project-specific parameters
- Performing first- and second-level troubleshooting in case of QC deviations, including communication and discussion at expert level across departments
- Reviewing QC results and communicating non-conformities to the Team Lead, Head of Production, and Quality Assurance
- Communicating QC discrepancies transparently within the production team
- Implementing QC procedures for new products and kits transferred from R&D departments
- Organizing and executing device calibrations and functional tests
- Training new employees and sharing best practices
- Creating and maintaining work instructions and other QM documents in accordance with ISO 13485
- Documenting production orders in SAP
- Maintaining hygiene standards and preventing contamination in the laboratory
- Independently planning and organizing laboratory work

Your profile
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, or equivalent vocational training (e.g., BTA, MTA, CTA, laboratory assistant)
- At least 5 years of experience in Quality Control within regulated environments, ideally under ISO 13485 standards
- Strong commitment to goal-oriented, structured, and deadline-driven work
- A team-oriented mindset paired with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- A highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-focused working style
- Fluency in German and solid proficiency in written and spoken English
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
