Your responsibilities

As a Front Desk Receptionist (f/m/x), you will be the face of our office and ensure a professional and welcoming environment for visitors and employees. Based in our brand-new headquarters in Hamburg-Alsterdorf, you will combine front office responsibilities with organizational support in a dynamic and international environment, and be part of our General Administration (GA) team. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Reception Management: Support visitors, guests, and employees while ensuring a professional and friendly reception experience at all times.
  • Visitor & Access Management: Coordinate visitor registration, access control, badge handling, and front desk operations in a high-traffic environment.
  • Communication: Handle incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries in a professional, reliable, and service-oriented manner.
  • Office Coordination: Support the smooth day-to-day office operations by taking over various administrative and organizational tasks.
  • Event Organization: Organize internal employee events and support office-related activities and initiatives.
  • Administrative Support: Manage employee birthday vouchers and provide backup support for travel management when required.
  • Representation: Act as the “face of the office” and represent the company with professionalism, positivity, and a strong customer-oriented mindset.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders across different departments to ensure an efficient office environment and a positive employee and visitor experience.

Your profile

You will thrive in this role if you are an open-minded and service-oriented personality who enjoys interacting with people and creating a positive experience for others. Ideally, you bring the following qualifications and strengths:

  • Several years of professional experience in reception, hospitality, office management, or a similar customer-facing role
  • A hands-on and proactive working style combined with a strong service mindset
  • Friendly, professional, and confident appearance with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to stay organized and calm in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support across different tasks and topics
  • Experience in hotel, hospitality, or gastronomy is considered a plus
  • Fluent English and German skills, written and spoken

This position is based in Hamburg. While this is a front office role, a hybrid working model with 1–2 days of home office per week may be possible after the onboarding phase, as the reception is covered by an additional full-time team member, ensuring full on-site presence.
